A rock-solid album that lives up to their debut and mixes some variety into the OSDM formula. Simon continues to be one of my favorite vocalists in the subgenre and the tasty grooves still taste fresh.
Favorite track: Serpent's Breath.

Absolutely top-tier, stellar death metal. I've nothing against straightforward OSDM worship, but I love this album for stepping out of that a good deal. The music and performance is just phenomenal, and the vocal delivery is just a fucking cannon. Death metal AOTY for me. The chorus in the closing track will wreck me forever.
Favorite track: In Chasms Abysmal.
